Federal Boulevard Corridor Plan: Denver, Colorado

Location:
Denver

Client:
City and County of Denver

Project Leads:
HDR, Design Workshop

Project Type:
Economic Development Potentials

The Project:
HDR, with ArLand and Design Workshop, provided a corridor plan for the entire stretch of the Federal Boulevard corridor in the City of Denver.  Federal Boulevard is a heavily used corridor despite not having a downtown terminus.  The plan recommended future transportation improvements focused on improving safety for corridor users.

Our Role:
ArLand and Design Workshop focused on urban design and economic development recommendations for key segments of the corridor.  ArLand reached out to key stakeholders for critical feedback on potential area improvements.  Several potential future economic development nodes were identified and include: Loretto Heights University, the Little Saigon Business District, the Federal Decatur Station Area, the area near 29th and Federal Boulevard, Regis University and the I-70 area.
